BC Asian Restaurant & Café Owners Association Celebrates a Successful 2025 Christmas Gala Dinner
Over 410 Guests Gather for an Unforgettable Evening of Entertainment, Exciting Prizes, and Festive Cheer
The BC Asian Restaurant & Café Owners Association successfully hosted its 13th Annual Christmas Gala Dinner on December 10, 2025, at Continental Seafood Restaurant in Vancouver. The celebration brought together over 410 restaurant owners, chefs, industry partners, and distinguished guests for an evening filled with joy, friendship, and festive spirit.
The evening was co-hosted by renowned Mandarin emcee Ms. Salina Liang and English-Cantonese emcee Mr. Herman Cheng. Association President Mr. David Chung delivered a welcoming speech, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the continued support of the business community.
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to dedicated volunteers, including William Tse and Welyaun of Uniking Enterprises (Canada) Ltd.; Cindy Wu of Vancouver Limitless Art Academy; Agnes Lui, Winnie Chien, and Jenson Tse of Fame Insurance; Hedy Lam and Margarette Lam of Neptune Wonton Noodle –YVR Outlet; Stephen Chan and Michael Chan of Kam Do Bakery; as well as Henry Yeung, Janet He, and Sandra Zheng.
Spectacular Performances and Exciting Lucky Draws
Guests enjoyed an entertaining program featuring an energetic K-Hip-Hop dance performance by Vancouver Sky Dance Studio, founded by Ms. Ying Ying. Mr. Alun Leung, triple-title champion of the 2025 Golden Diamond Karaoke Competition, captivated the audience with classic hits. Renowned singer and emcee Ms. Salina Liang, affectionately known as the "Lady of Romance," also delighted guests with her musical performance.
One of the evening's highlights was the spectacular lucky draw, featuring over 90 prizes valued at more than CAD $18,000. Prizes included iPhones, Hisense 58-inch and 50-inch 4K televisions, air fryers, rice cookers, a Samsung sound bar, vacuum cleaners, heaters, Bluetooth speakers, wine, and restaurant gift certificates valued at over $3,000. The exciting draws brought continuous cheers and applause throughout the evening.
